Service Advisor Yolandi Blignaut has been with West Coast Mazda for almost a year. She says that the best part of her job is interacting with our customers and helping with their vehicle servicing and repairs while trying to keep things stress free. She also loves working with the service team and finds that it’s a very fun and supportive environment. Yolandi has been in the automotive industry for over 10 years and feels that it’s something she’s very passionate about and would like to continue to grow in.

When not working Yolandi spends time with her boyfriend Matt, racing cars. They both they like to participate in Lapping Days and Auto-X (a time trial event where one car at a time completes a road course, usually set up at an airport runway or parking lot. The course is defined using traffic cones, while the goal is to finish the course quickly without disturbing the cones and assessing penalties). Last summer she and her team won the UBCSCC Enduro Race. Yolandi also loves to travel and will be travelling to Montreal this summer for the Formula 1 Grand Prix! When not working or racing she and Matt spend time with family in the Okanagan and on the Island visiting her 2 young nieces which Yolandi says is always an adventure. She says her favourite quote is “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all”. ~ Oscar Wilde. After speaking to Yolandi for a few minutes it’s very clear that she’s doing a lot of living!
