Introducing Mac Browett
Jr. Parts Advisor

The newest member of the Toyota parts department is Jr. Parts Advisor Mac Browett. Mac started with us as a lot attendant in 2016 at West Coast KIA, he then transferred to West Coast Toyota in June of 2017 right before we opened the doors to our newly renovated facility.

Mac is a tremendous asset to the parts team and a quick study. With the guidance of his managers, Ron Daskis and Trevor Champagne, Mac is quickly becoming a seasoned parts man. Of course, it’s not an easy task, as with most jobs there is a lot to know and it doesn’t happen overnight; it’s only by watching and learning that Mac is able to quickly serve our customers and our busy shop.

Mac says that highlights of working at West Coast Toyota include continual learning and something different every day.

He also has a huge passion for cars so that makes his job very enjoyable plus the fact that he’s a people person and loves when he can help someone. Mac says the parts, service and technician staff are awesome and that everyone works as a team with the main focus being the customer.

Outside of work Mac enjoys playing video games and hanging out with his friends plus snowboarding in the winter and wake surfing in the summer. He also tries to rock climb year round. Mac has 2 dogs, both Shih Tzu’s rescues, to add to his 2 cats…he says it’s like a zoo at his house sometimes which can be like the parts department on a Monday…Mac also enjoys working on his car, when he knows what he’s doing and that is usually with the help or advice of one of his co-workers.

He says at 20 years old he’s a work in progress so feels that his only claim to fame at this point is graduating high school, which is something of which he can be proud.

Based on Mac’s eagerness to learn and to help people we know that the awards and accolades are not too far in the distant future. Keep up the great work Mac!
