Ingredients 6 medium apples 1/2 cup sugar 1 lemon, juiced 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 and 1/8 cup all-purpose flour 8 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped Salt
Instructions
1. Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the apple slices with 1/8 cup flour, sugar, and lemon juice.
3. In another large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, oats, walnuts, cinnamon, and a dash of salt. Cut the butter into small pieces and incorporate it with a pastry cutter.
4. Pour the apple mixture into a lightly greased baking dish (9×13 inches) and spread evenly. Pour the crumble mixture over top.
5. Bake at 350 F for about 45 minutes, until browned. Allow to cool, then serve!
Baked Apples

Ingredients 4 large apples 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons dried cranberries 2 tablespoons chopped pecans 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. Use a spoon or a knife to cut holes in the apples for stuffing.
2. Mix together the ingredients for the filling, then stuff each apple with the mixture.
3. Place the apples on a baking dish and pour warm water into the pan to keep them from drying out.

1. In a large bowl, combine and mix the flour, sugar, and a dash of salt. Cut the butter into the mixture and stir until it forms the texture of fine crumbs, then add in egg and stir.
2. Press the resulting dough into the bottom and the sides of an 11-inch tart pan.
3. Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss the slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Arrange the apples over the crust.
