2021 Toyota Tundra
Rugged, Powerful and Refined (+video)

“Equally at home on the job site, at the campsite, or on date night, when it’s time to commit Acts of Truck Canadians can rely on the Toyota Tundra to get the job done with power and comfort,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “This year, we’re excited to expand the choices with the Tundra 4×4 Trail – a new configuration that celebrates Canadians’ love of the great outdoors.”

The 2021 Toyota Tundra is offered in four Double Cab models and eight models fitted with the CrewMax cab. All express rugged capability and are standard equipped with many features to get the job done – such as a removable, locking, easy lower and lift tailgate.

Tundra’s powertrain is also ready for any task. Tundra’s powerful and proven 5.7-litre i-FORCE V8 generates an impressive 381 peak horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. This engine is equally sophisticated, with many advanced technologies to maximize horsepower and torque while managing fuel use and emissions.

When the going gets rough, the ride remains smooth and in control thanks to heavy-duty suspension systems- including a double-wishbone system up front and multi-leaf springs with bias-mounted shocks at the rear. And because big jobs require big brakes, every Tundra sports serious stopping power – including massive 13.9” front brake rotors and four-piston calipers.

Every Tundra is equipped with a factory-installed tow package including heavy-duty hitch receiver, four and seven-pin wiring harness, a supplemental transmission cooler, trailer brake controller and transmission fluid temperature gauge. There’s even a set of front tow hooks.

While rugged on the outside and more than capable where it counts, the Tundra is in a class by itself for comfort and sophistication. Regardless of cabin, the Tundra offers generous seating for five adults, instrumentation and controls that put the driver at the centre of the adventure, and a long list of amenities to make everyone look forward to the next journey. There’s an impressive package of smart technologies too – headlined by Connected Services by Toyota, a suite of powerful, yet easy to use services ready to simplify everyday life. Touchscreen Display Audio systems are enhanced with Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility and steering wheel mounted audio controls.

A long list of standard safety systems starts with Toyota Safety Sense – a bundle of active safety technologies that help extend the driver’s awareness and ability to avoid collisions or mitigate their effect. Other standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, a back-up camera and eight airbags.

The all-new 2021 Toyota Tundra 4×4 CrewMax Trail is built off the SR5 Plus. It features unique dark grey TRD Off Road Wheels, Predator side step bars, the same grille found on the 1794 edition mounted in a colour-keyed surround, and seats clad in black fabric with tan stitching. This model is finished with black exterior badging.

In addition to this new model, the 2021 Tundra is available in the following CrewMax-equipped model and trim combinations:

  • The 2021 Toyota Tundra 4×4 CrewMax SR5 Plus
  • The 2021 Toyota Tundra 4×4 CrewMax TRD Off Road
