RAV4’s rugged yet sophisticated exterior transitions to a refined interior characterized by a spacious feel, a harmonious layout, and accommodating features. Under the hood, the RAV4 lineup provides a range of choices to suit every taste and budget. In all, Toyota Canada offers two front wheel drive and six all-wheel-drive RAV4 models powered by a conventional drive train, plus a further five all-wheel-drive RAV4 Hybrid models that deliver advanced power and remarkable efficiency.

Hybrid models feature the Toyota Hybrid Drive – the most popular and proven electrified power train on the planet. This system, custom-configured for the RAV4 Hybrid, is built around Atkinson cycle 2.5-litre Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine coupled to a continuously variable transmission. The result is 219 Net Horsepower and a combined city/highway fuel efficiency rating of just 6.0L / 100km.
All models feature an impressive bundle of powerful yet intuitive technologies, including touchscreen-equipped display audio systems with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a multi-information display. Additional features vary by trim level.
A long list of standard safety systems starts with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 – a bundle of active safety technologies that help extend the driver’s awareness and ability to avoid collisions or mitigate their effect. Other standard safety features include the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert safety system, the Toyota Star Safety System, a back-up camera, and eight air bags.
