Great Games Await
Most Anticipated Gaming Titles of 2021

Video games helped people pass the time while quarantined or isolated in 2020, providing much-needed distraction and enjoyment. Continue gaming in 2021 with these new releases.

Whether you were an avid gamer already or your interest was piqued this past year, the coming year is bringing a lot of fantastic titles for everyone to look forward to. Here is a look at eight of the most anticipated games to keep your eye on.

Far Cry 6

Set in the fictional, Cuba-inspired island nation of Yara, Far Cry 6 is already looking like one of the most immersive titles in the series. Fans of the first-person shooter game are excited to see Mandalorian actor Giancarlo Esposito as the main villain, a ruthless dictator bent on restoring Yara to its former glory.

Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Forbidden West is the highly anticipated sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, a best-selling action role-playing game from 2017. The expansive, open-world game will be taking place in a post-apocalyptic San Francisco. Little else is known about the game so far, but players can expect stunning landscapes and incredible underwater sequences.

God of War: Ragnarok

The sequel to 2018’s acclaimed God of War is another game not much is known about yet, but the excitement is building nonetheless. What we do know is that God of War: Ragnorak will continue to follow the protagonist, Kratos, who has found himself to be a target of the gods Thor and Odin.

Hogwarts Legacy

Prepare for your return to Hogwarts with this very promising Wizarding World offering from Avalanche Software. Players will get to immerse themselves in a completely new storyline as a student attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1800s. Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world role-playing game that will give players plenty of freedom to explore.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Fans are expecting great things from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the next installment in the classic action-adventure series which first came out in 2002. This year’s revival is made to appeal to both existing fans and new players alike with stunning, next-generation graphics. Get ready to jump through interdimensional portals with the zany title characters.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

A unique horror-adventure title, Ghostwire: Tokyo takes place in a semi-futuristic Tokyo where all of the residents have mysteriously disappeared. In their place, the city is haunted by ghosts and other mythical creatures. Players take the role of the city’s last human citizen as they try to figure out what happened using their supernatural powers.

Gotham Knights

In a bold and shocking move, Gotham Knights kills off the protector of Gotham City, Batman, right at the beginning of the story. Instead, the game focuses on Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood as they rise up to take over the protection of the city and unravel the mysterious death of their mentor.

Resident Evil Village

The Resident Evil series has had its ups and downs over the years, but it looks like Resident Evil Village is set to do some course-correcting. It takes place eight years after the previous entry and continues to follow Ethan Winters in a strange and creepy new village setting with more horror-focused gameplay.

The 2021 video game roster is shaping up to be an impressive one, offering something for every type of gamer. Watch out for your top picks and get ready for hours of fun.
