This month the spotlight is on our new Service Manager, Kelly Yip. While Kelly is a new face to West Nissan; starting in March of 2018, she has extensive knowledge in the automotive industry with over 10 years of experience.
Kelly`s favourite part of her job is making connections with both her customers and colleagues. She helps each person to the best of her abilities and hopes to build a lasting relationship with them. The most rewarding thing to Kelly, is when a customer comes in and they want her to specifically help them. She loves when customers are so happy that they can`t help but give her a hug when they leave! Kelly says she often encounters past customer`s from previous employment and they say how much they have missed her and how happy they are to see her again. Kelly says, “In the short time I have been with West Coast Nissan, I love that everyone is so friendly and there is a real sense of family. I enjoy coming into work each and every day!”
When Kelly is not working she enjoys baking and recreational Dragon Boat Racing. She is a part of a team called Fort Fusion. They practice in Fort Langley at the Canoe Club on the Bedford Channel. She has been competing for 5 years. Kelly is currently saving up for a nice trip, Scott and her would love to travel to Egypt or New Orleans again. She says she is a pretty low-key person but enjoys spending time on her patio with her little garden in the Spring and Summer months.
