2019 Nissan Titan
A long List of Upgrades for 2019 (video)

The Nissan TITAN half-ton pickup enters the 2019 model year with a range of enhancements including an all-new Fender® Premium Audio System. Offered on two 2019 TITAN Crew Cab grade levels, the system’s 485-watt, 9-channel amplifier with Panasonic’s proprietary Acoustic Motion Control™ renders the reverberation and ambience of original recordings with stunning realism. It is designed to provide the precise, tight bass sound control usually reserved for a studio rather than a full-size pickup. The result is the delivery of “arena-sized sound” to the roomy TITAN Crew Cab cabins.

Other changes for 2019 include:

  • A new 7.0-inch touchscreen audio/IT display with NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ – standard on all models
  • New Rear Door Alert (RDA) system, which helps remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked, added as standard equipment on TITAN King Cab and Crew Cab models
  • An additional USB media port (two total)
  • A pair of illuminated USB-A charge ports is added to PRO-4X, SL and Platinum Reserve grades
  • A new body-colour outer grille with gloss metallic black inner treatment for the SV grade (replaces the previous chrome grille treatment)
  • Two new exterior paint colours: Midnight Pine Metallic and Moab Sunset Metallic

As part of a Nissan model line initiative, the innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) system is now standard on all King Cab and Crew Cab TITAN models. The system uses the vehicle’s door sensors, horn and message display to help remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked. Nissan plans to have RDA standard on all four- door trucks, sedans and SUV nameplates by model year 2022.

Again in 2019, TITAN is available in a full range of rugged half-ton models, including Single Cab, King Cab and Crew Cab body configurations, 4×2 and 4×4 drive, and a choice of up to six grade levels. Every TITAN is powered by a 390-horsepower 5.6- litre Endurance® V8 gasoline engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The TITAN Midnight Edition Package, introduced last year, is again available on Crew Cab SV and SL grades, providing a custom look straight from the factory.

Every 2019 TITAN is covered by Canada’s Best Truck Warranty, featuring bumper- to-bumper coverage of 5-years/160,000-kilometres, whichever comes first.

The 2019 Nissan TITAN XD stakes out a unique position between traditional heavy- duty and light-duty trucks, offering some of the effortless towing and hauling of larger, more expensive heavy-duty trucks – yet with fuel-efficiency and affordability closer to a half-ton pickup.

For the 2019 model year, TITAN XD, like the TITAN half-ton, features a range of enhancements – starting with an all-new Fender® Premium Audio System.

Other TITAN XD changes for 2019 include:

  • A new 7.0-inch touchscreen audio/IT display with NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ – standard on all models
  • New Rear Door Alert (RDA) system, which helps remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked, added as standard equipment on TITAN XD models
  • Larger capacity DEF tank
  • Two new exterior paint colours: Midnight Pine Metallic and Moab Sunset Metallic

The 2019 TITAN XD lineup only includes Crew Cab body style, one bed length, choice of a powerful Cummins® 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel or Nissan 5.6- litre Endurance® V8 engines, 4×4 driveline only and up to four well-equipped grade levels. TITAN XD has an available maximum towing capacity of 11,960 pounds and maximum payload capacity of 2,470 pounds (when properly equipped).
