This month the Employee Spotlight is on Patrick Stankiewicz; one of our highly trained Technicians. Patrick has been working at West Coast Nissan for over 6 years. When he first started he was a Lot Attendant and then went to school to become an apprentice. This year Patrick became a fully licensed Technician and we are so excited to have him as a part of our Service Team!
This month at West Coast Nissan the Top Salesperson was Thomas Byrne! This does not come to much of a surprise to many as Thomas continues to provide exceptional customer service to all of his customers. He has a high repeat referral rate and prides himself on providing a high level of customer service. Customers thoroughly enjoy dealing with Thomas and have many kind things to say about the experience he provides.
New 2019 Rogue exterior highlights include body-colour heated outside mirrors with available integrated turn signals, a rear spoiler, privacy glass and roof rails. Rogue’s available power panoramic moonroof offers a wide view of the outside world through its extended length. A convenient Motion-Activated Liftgate is standard on SV and SL grades.
Inside, the 2019 Rogue offers a premium look and feel throughout. Every 2019 Rogue features NissanConnectSM featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, with a 7.0-inch colour touch-screen display. As in previous years, the 2019 Rogue offers exceptional passenger and cargo flexibility with its innovative Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System. The new, standard Rear Door Alert (RDA) system can help remind customers of items that may be forgotten in the rear seat – valuables, dry cleaning, groceries and more.
All 2019 Rogue models are equipped with a responsive 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The engine is matched with an advanced Xtronic transmission with standard Sport Mode and Eco switches. Rogue is available with an intuitive All-Wheel Drive system or front-wheel drive. Fuel economy5 is rated at 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway and 29 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive models. Rogue AWD models are estimated at 25 mpg city, 32 mpg highway and 27 mpg combined.
No mention of the 2019 Rogue would be complete without highlighting the advanced ProPILOT Assist technology, which is core to Nissan Intelligent Mobility and is the foundation for the autonomous vehicles of the future. ProPILOT Assist helps drivers stay centred in the lane, navigate stop-and-go highway traffic, maintain a set vehicle speed and maintain a set distance to the vehicle ahead.
Other available technology includes Intelligent Around View® Monitor (I-AVM), radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI), High Beam Assist (HBA) and Rear Automatic Braking (RAB).
The 2019 Rogue is the first Nissan model to offer Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of six advanced active safety and driver-assist technologies. It is offered as standard equipment on SV and SL grades of the 2019 Rogue.
In addition, following extensive enhancements for 2018, the 2019 Rogue again offers a range of significant updates, including:
New Special Edition Package (S grade) featuring 17-inch aluminium-alloy wheels, heated exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, heated driver’s and front passenger seat, chrome exterior and interior door handles and roof rails
New Premium Package (SV grade) with 18-inch aluminium-alloy wheels, ProPILOT Assist2 and electronic parking brake
Expanded technology and availability, including standard Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection and High Beam Assist (HBA) across all grade levels
Rear Automatic Braking3 (RAB) and Rear Sonar System added as standard on SV and SL grades
Innovative Rear Door Alert4 (RDA) added to all grade levels
ProPILOT Assist and 19-inch aluminium-alloy wheels now standard on SL grade (previously available as part of the SL Premium Package)
