Way to Go, Nathan!
We’re celebrating with you!!

After 4 years of training and more training, exams and hours upon hours of studying, West Coast Mazda technician Nathan Simoes has earned his Red Seal certificate and Fixed Operations Manager Mitch Clark couldn’t be more proud to present it to him.

Achieving Red Seal status is not an easy task to complete. It requires 6,500 hours of practical shop training and 4 different sessions of 6 weeks of in-class training. Plus one major interprovincial exam to pass!!

This brings Nathan’s apprenticeship to an end and starts his time as a fully Licensed Technician!

Congratulations Nathan on achieving this amazing accomplishment!

The Red Seal Program is recognized as the interprovincial standard of excellence in the skilled trades. The program was established more than 50 years ago to provide greater mobility across Canada for skilled workers. Through the program, tradespersons are able to obtain a Red Seal endorsement on their provincial/territorial certificates by successfully completing an interprovincial Red Seal examination. The Red Seal Program acknowledges their competence and ensures recognition of their certification throughout Canada without further examination.
