The vehicle comes equipped with a 7-inch LCD meter display which allows for vital information to be displayed clearly and in a much cleaner, less cluttered display. The Mazda Connect screen is an 8.8-inch wide centre display which is operated exclusively using the HMI Commander. The centre console speaks of the height, width, and presence of an SUV. The cupholders have been placed in front of the gear lever in order to not interfere with the connection between the driver and HMI Commander.

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 will be available in Canada with a choice of two Skyactiv-G engines, 2.0L or 2.5L. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and Mazda’s proactive i-Activ all-wheel-drive system is available on every trim level.
i-Activ all-wheel drive is new for the 2020 Mazda CX-30. By monitoring wheel movement and road conditions in real time, the system quickly distributes the appropriate amount of torque to the front and rear wheels when it detects signs that the wheels would slip. The balance between front and rear tire grip is constantly controlled to maintain ultimate stability at all times. To achieve this, the vehicle adds “four-wheel vertical load” detection to monitor the grip level of all four tires in real time.
The 2020 Mazda CX-30 will feature Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM integrated into the Mazda Connect system.
