Skull and Bones (Nov. 8)

Skull and Bones invites players to embark on the pirate life after they find themselves marooned on an island. The ambitious and very expensive game (at more than $120 million) has faced numerous delays but is finally ready for its showcase. It is expected to focus heavily on elements of ship customization and naval combat. Skull and Bones will be released for Windows, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.

Sonic Frontiers (Nov. 8)

Sonic Frontiers will give players the freedom to explore the wide-open world of Starfall Islands as they zip and zoom through the diverse landscapes. It is made to appeal to both long-time fans and newcomers to the franchise, with an epic adventure that involves the titular character facing off against large robotic enemies in dynamic fight sequences. Sonic Frontiers will come out on a variety of platforms, including Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

God of War Ragnarok (Nov. 9)

A follow-up to 2018’s wildly popular God of War, this sequel takes place several years into the future. The main character, Atreus, is older and growing into his giant genes. He and his father, Kratos, must face Ragnarok and the wrath of gods like Freya and Thor. The game takes place across all of the Nine Realms from Norse mythology, including Asgard. God of War Ragnarok will be available on the PS4 and PS5.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (Nov. 18)

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are the dual titles launching the ninth generation of the ever-popular Pokemon video games. The games introduce a new host of Pokemon and mark the first fully open-world adventure for the Pokemon series, with no borders between the towns and wilderness. Non-linear gameplay and three different story paths are also introduced as new elements. Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are coming to the Nintendo Switch.
