“I wanted to give the new Rondo a sleeker look and feel, to create a design that envelops its functionality and versatility in something altogether more athletic and dynamic,” says Peter Schreyer, Kia’s chief of design.

The available LCD supervision cluster provides the driver with an intuitive way to receive important vehicle information including open doors, turn-by-turn navigation (if equipped), rear cross traffic alert, as well as user-settable menus and much more.

Under the hood, all Rondo’s are propelled by a 2.0L, GDI, 4-cylinder, engine with an aluminium block and head. This efficient and peppy engine features 16-valve, DOHC, Dual-cam Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) and is rated at 164 hp @ 6,500 rpm and 156 lb.-ft. @ 4,700 rpm. All Rondo’s are outfitted with a 6-speed Sportmatic automatic transmission and are rated for 9.9 / 7.6 L/100km (City/Highway).
