Let’s start by talking about power. All Bullitt Mustangs come standard with Ford’s 5.0 litre Ti-VCT V8 with Port Fuel Direct Injection that produces a bone-crushing 460 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. Also standard is the Active Valve Performance Exhaust with Quiet Time Mode which means you get to choose if and when your Bullitt whispers or roars. Leaving for work early in the morning? Set it for Quiet Start and slip away without waking the neighbours. Need a shot of adrenaline after a long day at work? Select Sport Setting and let people hear you coming. Other modes include Normal and Track.

The Bullitt is easy on the eyes as well, wearing the signature Bullitt Green paint, pony projection lights, rear diffuser, LED sequential taillights, hood vents, LED headlamps with LED signature lighting and body-colour heated mirrors with integrated blind spot mirrors and turn signal indicators.

Add a3.73 TORSEN limited-slip rear axle, Dual exhaust with quad tips, a factory oil cooler and a six-speed manual transmission with Rev Matching and electronic line-lock and launch control (track use only), and you’ve got a recipe for excitement.

Clearly the Bullitt can hustle in a straight line. But what about carving up some twisty backroads? No problem. Every Bullitt features Unique stability control, EPAS and ABS tuning, and the Magneride Damping System. Up front, 380 mm (15”) Brembo 6-piston brake rotors keep you under control when stopping and 330 mm (13”) single piston brake rotors do the same out back.

The Bullitt’s model specific 19” five spoke heritage wheels with bright-machined aluminium with high-gloss black-painted pockets are wrapped in p225/40R19 rubber up front and P275/40R19 out back (these are summer-only performance tires).
