2020 Ford F-150 Raptor
The Baddest Mass-Produced Pickup Truck in The World (+video)

The 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor doesn’t even look like any other pickup truck. Even a casual walk around it will reveal that this is a truck capable of things that no other truck could even dream of. Developed with the DNA of a Baja race truck, F-150 Raptor is unique among off-road and performance vehicles, with a purpose-built engine, chassis and suspension that enables it to travel fast over challenging desert landscapes or crawl over rocky terrain.

If you’ve decided you want to own one, and even if you want it absolutely stock off the factory floor, you still have some choices to make. To start, you have three cab configurations to choose from: The Regular two-door cab, the “cab and a half” SuperCab and the four-door SuperCrew. After that, you get to choose your box size from three options as well: 5-1/2’, 6-1/2’ and 8’.

And that’s all you need to do. There are, of course, a number of other options and upgrade packages, but make no mistake, the stock Raptor is still the baddest off-road pickup truck in the world. Just consider these factory features:

High-Output 3.5L V6 EcoBoost® Engine

Going from mild to wild on the most unforgiving terrain is where the Baja-bred F-150 Raptor excels with its extraordinary capability, beginning with raw power. Under the unique Raptor hood is the 24-valve, 3.5L twin-turbo HO EcoBoost® with Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system and 10-speed automatic, generating a massive best-in-class* 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque. This high-output EcoBoost is also the standard engine for luxury travel in the top-of-the-line F-150 Limited.

Trail Control™

Trail Control™ is another high-tech feature of the F-150 Raptor — a cruise control system for low-traction, rugged off-road terrain. You set the speed and the system manages acceleration and braking, automatically sending torque and stopping force to the wheels individually as changing conditions dictate, allowing you to focus on steering over the demanding terrain.

High-Output, Off-Road FOX Live Valve Racing Shox™

The F-150 Raptor is outfitted with class-exclusive* FOX live valve monotube shocks featuring internal bypass technology to deliver superior control and maximize your off-road experience. These monotube shocks have an electronic solenoid valve engineered to provide continuously variable compression damping, so they can automatically adjust to the constantly changing conditions of demanding off-road terrain.

If you do want to upgrade there are two key packages to choose from: The 801A “Power Package” adds 10-way Power, Heated Driver and Front Passenger Seats, Leather-Trimmed Seats, Power-Adjustable Pedals, and a Power-Sliding rear-window with Privacy Tint and Defrost.

The 802A “Luxury Package” adds a 4.10 Front-Axle w/TORSEN® Differential, 10-way Power Driver and Passenger Seats with Heat and Memory, a 360-degree Camera and a B&O PLAY Premium Audio System.

The bed area can be upgraded with a number of useful options such as bed liners, hard and soft tonneau covers, a bed-mounted toolbox, a bed divider, BoxLink tie-downs, LED lighting, bed rails and much more.

Of course, the latest safety and connectivity technologies are also available on your Raptor. The best way to enjoy your truck is to feel safe while doing it and safety and security are key to every Raptor that rolls off the line.
