The Ford Edge has always had a bold, powerful look. For 2019, Ford has taken it to a higher level. More confident. More athletic. More accomplished. Practically everything on Edge is new, from the restyled body, grille, hood and available 360-Degree Camera System. Exterior enhancements include available bi-LED front lighting and new fog lamps available on SEL models and above. The exterior design features a bright beltline moulding matched with chrome accents and standard 19-inch wheels. Also available are 20-inch wheels. In fact, five newly styled wheels are available, including an 18-inch bright-machined aluminium wheel with premium dark stainless-painted pockets.

The 2019 Edge delivers plenty of power. Choose between the turbocharged twin-scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® engine or, for a little more attitude, the 2019 Edge ST offers the best V6 horsepower in its class with the athletic 2.7L EcoBoost® engine. These engines were designed, engineered, and built to provide the power and performance that today’s accelerated lifestyle demands.

Available Intelligent AWD uses sensors to constantly monitor traction, helping you through all types of weather and over various road conditions. It balances torque between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and maximize traction, typically before wheelslip can even occur.

The interior features a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel and perforated leather-trimmed sport bucket seats. Other smart touches include standard metal-plated accents, mechanical stripe aluminum applique, illuminated scuff plates and ambient lighting. The rotary gear shift dial takes up less room than traditional gearshifts. This opens up space for more conveniently arranged cupholders, improved bin size, smart storage and a USB port right where you need it.

The 2019 Edge offers the most available driver-assist technology in its class. Its sensors and cameras make you aware of other vehicles and objects all around you. For instance, available enhanced active park assist uses ultrasonic sensors on the front and rear of the vehicle to help you guide your Edge into a suitable parallel or perpendicular parking space.

The 2019 Ford Edge offers a suite of smart driver-assist features designed to help you feel confident on the road. Edge is the first utility with standard Ford Co-Pilot360™ including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert, Lane-Keeping System, rearview camera and auto high-beam headlamps. Post-impact braking and rain-sensing wipers are also standard. Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+™ is available on SEL, Titanium and ST and includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Lane Centering, Evasive Steering Assist and voice-activated navigation with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link®, making the 2019 Edge the smartest Edge ever.

Standard on ST, and available on SEL and Titanium, the Class II Trailer Tow Package (AWD required) has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. Trailer sway control helps you tow confidently by automatically determining from the motion of the vehicle if the trailer is swaying. It then takes measures, such as applying precise braking or reducing engine torque, to help keep both the vehicle and the trailer under control.

SiriusXM® Radio is standard on all series. A 12-speaker B&O PLAY premium audio system by HARMAN is standard on Titanium and ST. FordPass™ Connect, previously SYNC® Connect, is standard across the lineup. Edge is compatible with popular tech features such as available Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay™, Ford+Alexa and Waze navigation.
