This sounds all well and good, but …. maybe you’ve never owned a hybrid-electric vehicle before. Maybe it sounds complicated and all you want to do is get in and drive. Do you have to plus the Insight in to refuel it?
Though the Insight supplements its gasoline engine with an onboard electric motor, there is no need to plug the car in. The onboard lithium-ion battery charges during regular everyday driving. What we like:

There you have it. Owning a hybrid-electric vehicle isn’t complicated at all. Quite the opposite, actually. All you do is get in and drive, just like any other traditional gasoline-powered vehicle. You still visit gas stations to fuel up an Insight of course, but you’ll be making fuel stops much less frequently!
