Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show

The Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show is the largest showcase of its kind in Western Canada. It takes place in Hall C of the BMO Centre at Stampede Park, where more than 200 exhibitors will be set up. This year’s show will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, March 22nd, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show exhibitors offer a wide range of the latest outdoor gear, including camping, hiking, paddle sports, and even scuba diving products. They will be spread out among six different pavilions, or zones, each with a unique theme.

The Adventure Travel Pavilion is the place to find out all about some of the world’s top travel destinations for outdoor explorations. You will find representatives both from the United States and from all over the globe. There is also a separate U.S. Pavilion and an International Travel Pavilion that can introduce you to even more of the travel opportunities that are out there.

If you are an avid camper, then you will want to make your way over to the Camping Showcase. Browse all of the latest camping gear, including tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, lighting, cookware, camping furniture, and more. Then, you can discover ways to energize and revitalize your outdoorsy lifestyle in the Health & Wellness zone. Make sure you also swing by the show’s sponsor, G Adventure, to learn all about their small group tours and even enter your name for a chance to win a trip for two!

In addition to the different pavilions, there are a variety of fantastic features at the Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show. Head to the International Adventure Theatre for talks and presentations from experienced world travellers. Learn all sorts of travel, fitness, and healthy living tips straight from the pros. One of the special guest stars who will speak at this year’s event is Les Stroud, Canadian survival expert and star of the TV show Survivorman.

If you’re interested in exploring more of Canada, then make sure you also spend some time over at The Best of Canada Adventure Stage. The series seminar that will be held here is all about getting an authentic travel experience in our beautiful home country.

There are also some great experiences for kids at the Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show. The Information Booth will be providing every child with an Official Passport to the Outdoors that they can take to get stamped at exhibitor booths throughout the show. Special prizes await kids that find every stamp.

Admission to the Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show is just $10 per person, and credit, debit, and cash payments are all accepted. Kids aged 11 and under get in free, so don’t hesitate to bring younger adventurers along. Pay parking is available at Stampede Park, or you can take the CTrain to Victoria Park LRT Station.

Whether you come for a day or the whole weekend, you’ll find plenty of exciting products and opportunities at the Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show. It is sure to inspire you to spend more time in Canada’s great outdoors this spring and summer or to book that trip you’ve been wanting to take.
