Christmas Glow
Magical Indoor Light Festival Comes to Saskatoon

Christmas Glow is one of the world’s largest indoor Christmas light festivals. It is taking place from now until Saturday, December 28th at the World Trade Center Saskatoon at Prairieland Park. The space has been transformed into a winter wonderland where you can stroll through thousands upon thousands of lights as you spend a memorable evening with loved ones.

Explore the various trails of light, multiple illuminated structures, and different themed rooms throughout the park and try out some of the many unique interactive activities for family members of all ages. At Christmas Glow, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The most popular attractions are the Christmas Light Gardens and the Musical Light Tunnel that surround you with twinkling lights. Dance your way through the Magical Light Tunnel and then head over to the Vendor Market area, where more than 20 local boutique businesses and artisans will be set up. Pick up all sorts of unique gifts and goodies, and grab some delicious food and treats to try. You’ll also find a licensed bar serving cider.

There are plenty of fun activities for the kids at Christmas Glow as well. If you’ve got little ones accompanying you, then take them to the Magical Castle Playground where they can burn some energy running, climbing, and sliding. Kids can also have a turn on the LED swings or play LED hopscotch and watch the lines change colour as they jump.

Christmas Glow is a fantastic opportunity to take some Instagram-worthy photos. While you can get a great shot just about anywhere throughout the venue, the interactive, colour-changing hanging lights provide a particularly dazzling backdrop. There is also a Hanging Picture Frames area where you can take all sorts of unique photos to remember the magical night.

The very first Christmas Glow was held in Vancouver in 2017. Guests were captivated by the indoor spectacle and the event was a huge success. Since then, it has quickly expanded to 11 cities in three countries. An estimated 1.6 million guests will take in the event at its different locations this year.

Adult tickets to Christmas Glow 2019 in Saskatoon are $19.99 for weekdays and $22.99 for weekends and holidays, children and seniors tickets are $14.99 for weekdays and $16.99 for weekends and holidays, and family tickets (up to two adults and three children) are $65.99 for weekdays and $74.99 for weekends and holidays. Children three and under are welcome at Christmas Glow for free.

This Christmas, don’t let the season pass you by without checking out a few holiday activities. If there’s one activity you make time for, Christmas Glow is an excellent choice. It’s a great option for a date or an outing with friends and family. Enjoy one of the best light festivals in the country while staying nice and warm indoors.
