One of the latest and most exciting additions in Kia’s lineup, the Seltos compact SUV, will be arriving in Canada late this spring. The compact SUV market is white-hot right now and full of stiff competition, but Kia is confident the Seltos will immediately become a popular choice for young Canadians. Upon its arrival, Seltos will compete with the Nissan Kicks, the Ford EcoSport and of course the Hyundai Venue just to name a few.
The Seltos, a name derived from Hercules’ son Celtos in the Greek mythology, will be aimed directly at millennials. Indeed, Kia said earlier that it will be “aimed at youthful, tech-savvy buyers.”

The Seltos is designed to get noticed, no matter where you take it. Available LED headlamps light up the road and get attention along the way. In India, one of the first country where the Seltos was marketed, the compact SUV is packed with technologies. The 2020 Seltos features a Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO, ventilated and power seats, a head-up display and LED headlamps with DRLs among others.
ADVANCED SAFETY TECHNOLOGY
Seltos incorporates a whole new level of safety into every driving experience. Advanced safety technology like Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Follow Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Avoidance Assist can be employed when they’re needed most, giving you comfort and peace of mind on every trip.
CONNECTIVITY
Staying connected is everything. Good thing the Seltos is basically a smartphone that seats five. Our 10.25” multimedia screen makes navigation a breeze, and when paired with Apple CarPlay® or Android AutoTM, you can safely connect with your phone, hands-free, to access important apps, text, and music. Take your connectivity even further with UVO IntelligenceTM, our exclusive app that connects you to a world of support services that enhance security, comfort, and confidence, every time you get behind the wheel.
