Nissan’s Best-Seller Since in Canada Since 2012 (+ video)

The 2019 Rogue again offers progressive, emotive styling. The Nissan signature “V-Motion” grille and headlights with LED signature Daytime Running Lights help enhance Rogue’s robust, dynamic presence. Rogue exterior highlights include body-colour heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals, a rear spoiler, privacy glass and roof rails. Rogue’s available power panoramic moonroof offers a wide view of the outside world through its extended length.

Inside, Rogue offers a premium look and feel throughout. Among the interior features found in the 2019 Rogue are a D-shaped steering wheel and available leather-booted sport-mode shifter, and heated steering wheel, available memory for driver’s seats and mirror, and remote engine start2. The Platinum Reserve Interior Package is highlighted by premium tan leather-appointed seats with special quilted leather inserts, adding an enhanced sense of luxury style. It is available on Rogue SL Platinum models only.

Standard interior features include: NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7.0-inch colour display with multi-touch control SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), 5.0-inch center metre colour display (Advanced Driver Assist™ Display), 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with auxiliary audio input jack, USB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices, and Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System.

New for 2019 is the innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) system, which can help remind customers of items that may be forgotten in the rear seat – valuables, dry cleaning, groceries and more.

Available Rogue Safety Shield 360 technologies include: Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI), Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB) with Pedestrian Detection and radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), High Beam Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking (RIEB) is added for 2019 to SV (optional) and SL Platinum (standard) grades.

In 2018, Rogue became the first of two Nissan vehicles (along with Nissan LEAF) to offer the new, semi-autonomous ProPILOT Assist system, which can ease driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions. To activate the system, the driver simply pushes the blue ProPILOT Assist1ON button, which is integrated into the right-side steering wheel spoke. Step two is to set the Intelligent Cruise Control when the desired speed is reached, as with a normal advanced cruise control system.

All 2019 Rogue models are equipped with a responsive 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft or torque. The engine is matched with an advanced Xtronic transmission with standard Sport Mode and Eco switches.

The 2019 Rogue features Nissan’s suite of confidence-inspiring dynamic technologies with Intelligent Trace Control (I-TC), Intelligent Engine Braking (I-EB) and Intelligent Ride Control (I-RC).

Rogue also offers standard 4-wheel independent suspension, Electric Power-assisted Steering, 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS) and Hill Start Assist.

Rogue is available with a choice of front-wheel drive or an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, which can respond and adapt to changing conditions 30 times faster than the blink of an eye. Intelligent AWD initially delivers power to both front and rear wheels for improved grip. In slick conditions and tight corners, Intelligent AWD automatically transfers the optimal amount of power from front to rear, up to a mix of 50:50 distribution ratio.
