Standard on 2019 QX60 is the advanced Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, which utilizes the advanced technology to calculate the distance between QX60 and the vehicle in front, as well as the speed of both vehicles, to help detect the possibility of a frontal collision and help mitigate.
Parking is easier with the available Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection. It uses four wide-angle lenses – one on each side of the vehicle – to create a virtual “birds-eye” view on the centre console and help give drivers a clear picture of nearby hazards during low-speed manoeuvres.
Other available technology includes Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention and Blind Spot Intervention, advanced Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), Distance Control Assist and Front Pre-Crash Seat Belts.
Also standard for 2019 are Blind Spot Warning and Predictive Forward Collision Warning. The available Backup Collision Intervention can help alert the driver to crossing vehicles and other large stationary objects to the rear when the transmission is in reverse.
A responsive 295-horsepower direct injection V6
The 2019 INFINITI QX60’s standard 3.5-litre V6 engine is rated at 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The engine’s Direct Injection Gasoline system – which is also utilized on the exciting Q60 Sports Coupe’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 – provides better wide-open throttle performance and emissions performance (versus a non-direct-injection system).
Fuel economy is rated at 9.0L/100km highway, 12.5L/100km city and 10.9L/100km combined – while still offering the power to carry a full load or passengers and cargo.
