Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show Returning to BMO Centre

The Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show is back for another exciting year to showcase a variety of boats and other must-have outdoor accessories for the city’s avid outdoorsmen and women.

Calgary’s Boat & Outdoors Show is the biggest such show in all of Southern Alberta. It features all types and sizes of boats and outdoor-related products such as marine accessories, camping gear, hunting gear, ATVs, and more. You can expect to find over 175 exhibitors at the Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show, each offering unique products as well as outdoor services such as outfitting, guiding, and lodging.

This year’s show will be held from Thursday, February 7th to Sunday, February 10th at the BMO Centre in Stampede Park. The shows hours are from 1 pm to 9 pm on February 7th and 8th, 10 am to 7 pm on February 9th, and 10 am to 5 pm on February 10th.

Tickets to the Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show are $15 for adults (18+), $10 for juniors (13-17) and seniors (65+), and free for children 12 and under if accompanied by a paying adult. You can also buy a family pass that provides admittance for two adults and two juniors for $38.

One of the most hotly anticipated features of the Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show is the Spring Boat Super Sale. The sale allows you to take advantage of incredible early season discounts on all of the newest models. The dealers will be all set up with a large selection of boats and outboards for you to choose from. You can get your summer watercraft early and save a lot of money at the same time.

There will be plenty of entertainment at the Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show as well. Come cheer on the most prominent outdoorsmen and women at the West Coast Lumberjack Show presented on the Outdoor Stage. Expect to see incredible feats of physical prowess involving sharp axes and roaring chainsaws.

Inside the BMO Centre, you will also find experts to teach you how to tie your own flies and how to improve your fly-fishing techniques. The Alberta Hunter Education Instructors Association will also be available to answer any questions you might have about boat safety, hunting, fishing, conservation, and more.

The show has a fantastic, family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of activities for children as well. There will be a kid’s trout fishing pond where your little ones can try out catch and release fishing. The Alberta Birds of Prey Centre and Calgary Reptile Parties will also be there to let kids experience one-on-one interaction with unique birds and reptiles.

While there is available paid parking at the BMO Centre, traffic and parking lot congestion is to be expected during the Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show. You can save yourself the trouble by taking the CTrain to the show instead. The BMO Centre can conveniently be accessed from the Victoria Park/Stampede station on the 202 CTrain line.

No matter how you choose to get to the Calgary Boat & Outdoors Show, you’re sure to have a great time while you’re there. Whether you enjoy boating, fishing, hunting, or hiking, there will be plenty for you to see and do.
