2018 Kia Cadenza
Upscale Meets Down To Earth

Is it luxury if everyone can afford it? Kia believes so, yes. That’s the driving philosophy behind the new, 2018 Kia Cadenza, an all-new full-sized sedan that strikes a perfect balance between high-end luxury and low-cost affordability.

Exterior design: The simplicity of the straight line

Positioned between Kia’s luxury flagship, the K900 and the mid-sized Optima is the front-wheel-drive Cadenza. It doesn’t match the size or levels of opulence of the K900, but following its latest redesign, the Cadenza is now a benchmark in its segment. A stunning exterior embracing Kia Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer’s “the simplicity of the straight line,” design language creates a distinctive sleek profile and loads of curb appeal.

One of the most appealing new exterior features, however, are the LED Z-shaped daytime running lights up front and LED “Piano key” taillights out back that complete the Z-shape lighting signature.

The new front end design draws the eye to a more formal treatment of Kia’s signature “tiger nose” grille featuring a more concave form, curving inward towards the 290 HP V6 and projecting an assertive, yet luxurious visual statement.

Interior design: A modern cabin space that emanates luxury

The tranquil ride mixed with abundant passenger and cargo space make this strapping Kia an ideal family cruiser. The Driver’s seat is lower now, improving the driving experience and the seat cushion has been extended for greater comfort on longer trips. The driver’s seat also uses an available mechanism that slides and rotates, resulting in better contouring and support for all body types.

Cadenza’s interior has been redesigned with world-class details. Kia designers enhanced the width of the interior with a wraparound dashboard that combines with the door panels which feature real stitching and are covered with higher quality soft-touch materials. Quilted seat bolsters are available in Nappa leather with diamond-shaped stitching.

Safety: The best in safety and driver assistance technology

Futuristic-looking heads-up display is now available, displaying your speed, blind spots, lane departure, and navigation functions on the windshield in front of the driver, so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road.Parking a full-sized sedan like Cadenza would be challenging for some if not for the top-down rear-view camera. Now even the smallest spaces can be navigated stress-free.
