This years 10th annual Trent Valley Honda Walk a Mile in Her Shoes campaign was a huge success, and one that will go down in the books as raising the highest tally to date!

It is no surprise that over the years as the walk has gained momentum and the exposure it has also garnered greater participation. This years walk had over 230 people walking all sporting shoes of varying colour and style with some red heels still sprinkled in the mix.

A whopping $138,577.00 was the total amount raised by the 27 teams that participated, which ends up giving 3,014 safe nights sleep to those fleeing violence in our community.

As the title sponsor Trent Valley Honda is so proud of the amazing work the YWCA does in our community and we couldn’t be more excited that the campaign had an all time record amount raised!
