At the end of last month Trent Valley Honda was privileged to host the Walk a Mile press conference announcing some exciting news for this year’s 10th annual Walk on May 25th!

This year not only are we going to see men, women and children walking together again but both the red high heels are optional as well as wearing red shoes at all.

The red shoes optional piece brings to light the reality that the red shoes are far from what this event is about and strives to allow the focus to remain on the worthy cause of supporting women and children fleeing violence. If you aren’t able to walk in the event yourself, please consider pledging someone who is and leave your mark by providing a safe night’s sleep for those who need it.
