With the holiday season fast approaching it is no surprise that there are many causes and fundraisers in need of donations. But should contributing to someone’s Christmas still be on your list, then the YWCA is in need of your support. This time of year especially, the shelter runs low on needed items to help women and children feel at home while utilizing its services. Items such ladies pyjamas- especially in sizes Large and XL, running shoes and boots for both children and ladies-especially in larger sizes like 8,9 & 10, workout clothing for women, and notebooks are just a few of the items that would help in making someones Christmas a little bit brighter.

Anyone looking to contribute can drop off donations to the YWCA OFFICE AT 216 Simcoe St. from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For security reasons, donations are not accepted at the Crossroads shelter. Those who would like to make a financial contribution can write cheques payable to YWCA Peterborough Halliburton.
