The 2017 Honda Fit
Fun and so much more

Your thoughts might be turning to how you will spend your summer vacation; it’s not too early to consider kayaking and camping. The 2017 Honda Fit wants to go along with you.

Fit to Save Fuel

The first thing you think of when you think of the Fit is probably not its cargo space or carrier size. In fact, you probably think about its fuel efficiency.

With an Earth Dreams™ brain behind the 1.5 litre 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine, it has more horsepower and improved efficiency. Earth Dreams™ technology is Honda’s name for their continued quest to create a driving experience that combines the fun of driving with an environmentally sound choice that delivers efficiency and performance while being a responsible world citizen.

You can choose between automatic and manual transmissions, which will effect on your fuel efficiency. The six-speed manual transmission is standard on the LX and EX models, but an automatic Continuously Variable Transmission is an option at these trim levels. The EX-L only comes with an automatic transmission.

The Eco Assist™ System is standard and offers you a visual way to determine if your driving habits are economical. On either side of your speedometer, there are blue and green bars that let you know if your driving is draining your tank too quickly. The Fit gets 7.0/5.9/6.5 L/100km city, highway and combined, putting more money in your pocket while letting you go farther.

Fit to Carry

Since you’re going to go farther, you can pack more things in the spacious interior of the Fit. Honda equipped the Fit with a seating configuration that could be arranged to suit your needs. It fits five and includes cloth coverings, but leather trim is available on the upper models.

There is a generous amount of legroom in the back seat, and the elevated rear seats offer thigh support for long trips. Even the front seat reclines all the way back to offer up 8-feet of cargo room or give you a place to lie back and take a nap.

Now, you can start thinking about cargo room. Because of your ability to configure the seating in the Fit, you can make as much room as you need in the back. You can put a bicycle in the back, a tall plant upright in the middle section or a surfboard lying flat from front to back. In fact, there are 1,492 litres of cargo space.

The liftback on this subcompact makes getting in and out easy.

Available accessories include cargo nets, cargo liners and organisers, and cargo trays.

The 2017 Honda Fit was awarded the 2017 Best Resale Value: Subcompact Car award from Kelley Blue book, and the 2016 Fit was Car and Driver’s Editor’s Choice award winner for one of the best subcompacts you can buy.

Fit for Safety

Just like all Hondas, the 2017 Honda Fit has been equipped with the latest technology and safety features. Since Honda takes safety very seriously, they make sure that you get features like controlled braking through the ABS system with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist.

Vehicle Stability and Traction Control keep you from over- or under-steering by monitoring your wheels and traction.

Regardless of whether you are headed to the beach or a last minute ski trip, the 2017 Honda Fit is ready to take you there. Come test drive it today.
