Upcoming Headliner Tours in Canada

Alessia Cara, Twenty One Pilots, Cher, Corey Hart, and the Backstreet Boys will all be making their way across Canada over the next few months and likely stopping at a city near you. Here’s a sneak peek at these five headliner concert tours to help you prepare.

Alessia Cara – The Pains of Growing Tour

Multi-platinum songwriter Alessia Cara is getting set to go on tour to promote her second studio album, The Pains of Growing. Cara, who hails from Brampton Ontario, was the very first Canadian artist to win the Best New Artist award at the Grammys.

The Pains of Growing Tour will be commencing at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa on May 11th before heading west and finishing up at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver on May 27th. In between, Cara will be performing in Hamilton, Kitchener, Windsor, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, and Calgary.

Twenty One Pilots – The Bandito Tour

Twenty One Pilots have been on tour around the world promoting their fifth studio album, Trench, since October of last year. The tour has received rave reviews for the band’s on-stage antics and ability to engage with the audience.

The Bandito Tour is arriving in Vancouver on May 12th, with performances following in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa, and Montreal. Twenty One Pilots will be finishing the Canadian leg of their tour with two back-to-back performances in Toronto on May 28th and 29th.

Cher – Here We Go Again Tour

The Here We Go Again Tour is Cher’s seventh solo concert tour and her first tour since 2005. The tour is in support of the singer’s twenty-sixth studio album, Dancing Queen, which features cover versions of famous songs by ABBA. Both the album and the tour have received critical acclaim.

Cher will be putting on performances at five cities in Western Canada: Winnipeg (May 21), Saskatoon (May 23), Edmonton (May 25), Calgary (May 28), and Vancouver (May 30)

Corey Hart – Never Surrender Tour

Corey Hart will soon be commencing his first major Canadian tour since 1986. The tour will promote Hart’s newest record, Dreaming Time Again, which is scheduled to be released on May 3rd.

The Never Surrender Tour kicks off on May 31st (Hart’s birthday) in St. Johns at Mile One Centre before continuing on to 19 more shows in 15 more cities. The tour is set to conclude on June 25th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Backstreet Boys – DNA World Tour

Backstreet’s back, this time to support their latest studio album, DNA. The album has been wildly successful and the DNA World Tour is the biggest arena tour that the iconic boy band has embarked on in almost two decades.

The Backstreet Boys will be making seven stops throughout Canada: Ottawa (July 14), Montreal (July 15), Toronto (July 17), Winnipeg (July 22), Calgary (July 24), Edmonton (July 25), and Vancouver (July 27).
