Canmore Uncorked, the mountain town’s award-winning and eagerly anticipated food and drink festival, is back for its sixth year in a row with a packed lineup of exciting culinary events.

The 11-day festival, which takes place in the heart of Canmore, will begin on Thursday, April 25th and run until Sunday, May 5th. Canmore Uncorked Food & Drink Festival is a celebration of the local cuisine and of the town’s craft breweries and distilleries. Come delight your taste buds with unique culinary creations from Canmore’s top chefs and find your new favourite beer, cider, wine, and spirits along the way.

Canmore Uncorked Events

Canmore Uncorked is known for its innovative and immersive signature events. Here is a sneak peek at what’s going to be happening every day of the festival.

– Long Table Dinner (April 25)

The festival kicks off with the ever-popular outdoor Long Table Dinner, a seven-course meal for 160 people underneath the beautiful surrounding mountain backdrop. The event will be held from 6 pm to 11 pm, rain or shine. Each course will be served by a different restaurant from Canmore.

– Whisky & Spirits Festival (April 26)

Enjoy an evening indulging in the flavours of a wide variety of whiskies, scotches, rums, vodkas, and gins. Grab a bite to eat while you take in the lively atmosphere and on-site entertainment. The event begins at 7 pm and will run until 10 pm.

– Craft Beer & Cider Festival (April 27)

What better way to spend an afternoon than by sampling some of the province’s finest craft beer and cider and getting to know the brewers? A Canmore Uncorked favourite, the Craft Beer & Cider Festival will be taking place from 1 pm to 4 pm.

– Wine Festival (April 27)

After the Beer Festival heads out, the Wine Festival will be setting up. From 7 pm to 10 pm, you’ll have a chance to sample a choice of over 100 different wines from around the world. Learn a thing or two about wine-making and about how your favourite wines got their unique flavour.

– Progressive Dinner Tours (April 28 – May 2)

Make your way by bike or by bus on an unforgettable guided dining experience. Progressive Dinner Tours offer a chance to try a house specialty dish at multiple restaurants around Canmore. Choose between a 20 km bike ride for all skill levels guided by an Olympic athlete from Canmore or a more leisurely bus journey. Bike tours will be held on April 28th, 29th, and 30th while bus tours will be offered on May 1st and May 2nd.

– The BIG Grande Brunch (May 5)

Finish off the festival with a Sunday morning brunch with the family at the Grande Rockies Resort. Canmore’s best restaurants will be catering together under one roof to bring you a delicious array of local brunch specialties. Tickets are $39 for adults and $15 for kids, with seating times at either 9:30 or 11:30.

Canmore Uncorked is a great opportunity to explore Canmore’s culinary scene and find out why the town has become such a hotspot for craft brewing and distilleries. This mountain sports destination is fast becoming a foodie destination as well.
