The New 2024 GLA
Launching Q4 in Canada

The vehicle will launch in Q4 2023, offering more extensive standard equipment, a new front grille, enhanced louvres, and a front bumper redesign.

Highlighted Features

Mercedes-Benz’s GLA is the German automaker’s compact SUV. For 2024, the firm will add numerous features and update the vehicle’s looks to give it more poise and confidence on the road.

For instance, this year will see the introduction of modernized light signatures in the standard LED High-Performance front and rear lights. Paint options will also expand to include Spectral Blue, and buyers can choose from numerous alloy wheel designs up to a massive 20 inches.

The vehicle’s centre features a free-standing double screen with plenty of space for seeing instructions and inputting your preferences. The 10.25-inch instrument cluster display is standard and with another for the central console.

More Equipment As Standard

Mercedes-Benz is adding more features and equipment as standard to make the GLA more competitive and luxurious. The automaker includes comfort seats in all models, upholstered in full ARTICO man-made leather in black, with an optional macchiato beige colour available.

In the AMG Line, the standard ARTICO man-made leather/microfibre MICROCUT seat cover is now also available in Bahia brown, and there are four upholstery colours to choose from: black, Bahia brown, sage grey, and red pepper combined with black. The upper part of the seat cover is 65% recycled materials, while the bottom is 85% recycled materials.

Mercedes-Benz also made substantial improvements to the GLA’s existing equipment, such as Highbeam Assist, a backup camera, and the USB package. Customers receive the Parking Package and the Mirror Package from the start without needing to add them as extras.

Customers can further tailor packages depending on their driving styles, on-road behaviour, and personal preferences. The trim, wheels, and colours are all configurable before the sale, Mercedes-Benz announced.

Advanced Technology And Software

For technology, Mercedes-Benz equips the new GLA with its latest MBUX (Mercedes-Benz user interface), offering various modes to enhance the driving experience. “Sport” mode adds a rev counter, while “Discreet” mode minimizes display clutter.

Revised telematics help improve usability and quality of life. Owners can now connect wirelessly via their smartphones to Android Auto or AppleCarPlay, with further connectivity available through a USB-C port with additional charging power.

Activating online services in the Mercedes app makes the car even more capable. Intelligent voice assistance uses natural language processing and machine learning to understand your verbal instructions and generate more accurate responses. Additionally, Mercedes’ Connect+ services offer a range of mini-games for children and fellow passengers to play while you drive.
