The 2017 Nissan Juke
One-of-a-Kind Looks and a Sports Crossover Drive

The 2017 Nissan Juke looks like no other car on the four-oh-one. Interestingly enough, the unique body styling hasn’t changed since its introduction in 2010, and it still manages to look fresh and different.

So what exactly is the Nissan Juke? It’s a small, compact crossover with many curves. The exterior has an hourglass figure and hips. The roofline is sloped like a coupe. Hidden rear door handles add to the aerodynamic look. But if all this isn’t unique enough, there’s so much more you can add to customise one.

Our dealers have a Juke Color Studio program at your disposal that gives you plenty of unique, bright colour options for exterior items like the wheels, rear spoiler, mirrors and other trim.

A new Black Pearl Edition of about 250 Jukes is available in Canada for 2017. The edition features a black-and-white look with black pearl exterior paint and white accents on the front and rear bumpers, headlight surrounds, door handles, side mirror caps and the rear spoiler. Exclusive black 17-inch wheels with 215/55R-17 all-season tires and black heated fabric seats with white inserts and contrast stitching add to the Black Pearl Edition’s unique look.

The Juke is available in S, SV, SL, Nismo, and Nismo RS trims. The base-model S is fitted with keyless ignition, a new rearview camera, power windows and locks, Bluetooth, a 5.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and 17-inch wheels. If you live in the colder zones, you’ll appreciate the standard features of the SV and SL models, which include heated exterior mirrors and heated front seats. The Nismo and Nismo RS are the sportiest two of the bunch.

The 2017 Juke’s 188-horsepower, 1.6-liter turbo-4 engine comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission. It’s one of the sportiest compact crossovers available. All-wheel drive is an option worth upgrading to for the independent rear suspension it’s fitted with.

The Nismo models are another worthwhile choice because they add a racier, rally-car feel to the Juke and manage to get 215-hp from the engine. Nismo took the Juke and changed out or tuned about 100 of the crossover’s components to better meet its racing pedigree. Lighter weight alloy wheels, a 6-speed manual transmission for the driving enthusiast and a specially tuned tighter suspension with more downforce are part of the changes. The interior gets firmer and more bolstered track-inspired seats.

The Juke is most fun from the front row where there’s plenty of space for driver and passenger. The rear is a little tighter due to its compact size. The rear row can fit three, but it’s best left for kids or a couple of adults. Luckily, the tall design of the Juke offers plenty of headroom for taller passengers, even in the rear seat, minimising any cramped feeling in the back.

The Juke continues to be a fun, sporty crossover made for a driver with plenty of personality who is not afraid to show it. Come take a look at one up close and see what you think of all the colour options and unique body styling. We invite you to take one out for a test drive and give it a little push to check its response–it’s where the 2017 Nissan Juke really shines.
