The 2017 Nissan 370Z Roadster Convertible
Seize the Summer

Summer in Canada doesn’t last long, so it’s important to seize the moment and relish every sunny day. If you’re craving a racy little thrill ride with the top down, there’s no better companion than a 2017 Nissan 370Z Roadster Convertible.

Nissan offers three 370Z Roadster models in Canada at great value for what you’re paying. The three models are the 370Z Roadster, 370Z Touring Roadster and 370Z Touring Sport Roadster.

All models are powered by a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-litre DOHC V6 engine rated at 332 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 270 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission for the driving purist or a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The 2017 370Z is eye-catching and slightly nostalgic with exterior elements from the original 240Z like the fluid, curvy silhouette and lower, wider stance. Modernising the body are the headlamps and taillights in a new look Nissan calls a “boomerang” shape. Standard High-Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlights with on/off LED daytime running lamps are standard.

Nissan engineers built the chassis to be lightweight and strong with aluminium door panels, an all-aluminium hood and trunk hatch. Carbon fibre is used in the radiator housing as well to strengthen the rear fender area.

The interior for two has been designed, according to Nissan, “in layers.” The information layer offers easy access to all key vehicle data but retains a separate, traditional 3-pod cluster that displays voltage, oil temperature and the clock. The operation layer integrates the oval 3-spoke leather steering wheel, shifter and switchgear for a comfortable but sporty drive.

The holding layer includes the seating and door trim. What’s interesting about the 370Z is that the driver’s seat is uniquely different from the passenger’s seat. This makes perfect sense since the driver’s needs are different from the passenger’s.

The driver seat has seat cushion cutouts for the thighs so the driver can operate the pedals without interference from the seat’s padding. The seat frame is performance-inspired and constructed to cradle the driver for more aggressive driving and cornering. Both seats are upholstered with grippy material to keep driver and passenger from sliding around.

The standard, base-level 370Z’s grippy black woven cloth seats feature 8 manual adjustments for the driver and 4 for the passenger. The Touring model gets heated and ventilated power seats that are a bit sportier in upgraded leather.

Other standard interior features for all three trims include Nissan Intelligent key, push button start, power door locks and windows, manual transmission, heated seats, automatic climate control and a rear window defroster with timer.

The Touring package adds 18″ wheels, heated exterior mirrors, a retractable cargo cover, heated and ventilated seats, aluminum-trimmed pedals, a navigation system with 7.0-inch touch screen, an upgraded Bose 6-speaker sound system, Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement for throatier engine revs.

The Touring Sport upgrades the whole experience with a SynchroRev Match 6-speed manual, 19″ wheels and your choice of the standard black or bordeaux top.

The 2017 370Z comes in seven exterior colours: Pearl White, Magnetic Black, Solid Red, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Deep Blue Pearl and all-new Chicane Yellow.

How’s the weather? Today may be the perfect day to test drive one at one of our locations or simply take yours home and seize the summer.
