Jake Rochon, who has been with Brantford Honda for 10 years, is our technical shop foreman.

Jake heads up a team of Honda-certified techs here at Brantford Honda who were the first in SW Ontario to fulfill Honda Canada’s stringent skill requirements. This excellent team of techs is managed by Steve Jeles, a past technician who is recognized as a National winner after having achieved certified Platinum status for 10 years, certified gold status for 10 years and certified silver for 4 years.

Recently, Jake took part in Honda Canada’s Technician Recognition competition and was one of only a very few who were able to achieve Platinum status thereby confirming him as one of Canada’s best Honda Technicians, (TOP 2%!!)

This competition is a very intensive nationwide contest that tests the mechanical, theoretical and hands-on diagnostic skills of each competitor.

In recognition of making the top 2%, Jake along with other top winners, won a trip to Toronto courtesy of Honda Canada to enjoy a sightseeing and dinner cruise on Lake Ontario, followed by a stay at the Westin Harbour Castle hotel and tickets to enjoy a Blue Jays game.
